Jennifer came from Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to tell us about an exciting project to restore the River Ecclesbourne. We have been learning about the life cycle of salmon and how this project is going to help salmon to once again migrate to Wirksworth to spawn.

Today we walked round Wirksworth looking at the buildings.

Today we have been testing different shapes for strength and stability. We found that cylinders were the best shape. We tried different sized cylinders with different sized bases.

We are making models of important buildings in Wirksworth. Can you guess which building we have made?

We realise this page hasn't been updated recently. We are currently working on production of an online 'Our School' booklet.

We went on a walk following a trail of baubles and tinsel. Who did we bump into?

We visited the library in Wirksworth to choose a book. These are the books we liked and are taking them home to read.
